How to Fill OMR Sheet in Government Exams (SSC, BPSC & Police Guidelines)
Official guidelines issued by recruiting commissions to avoid negative marking and sheet disqualification:
Always use a 0.7mm or 1.0mm Black Ball Point Pen (Reynolds, Cello, or Hauser). Never use Gel pens, fountain pens, or pencils as ink bleed can cause the optical scanner to read adjacent bubbles.
Darken the circle completely (●). Do not use ticks (✔), crosses (✖), or half-filled circles. Optical evaluation machines disregard circles filled below 70% opacity.
BPSC uses 5 options where Option 'E' is often “None of the above / More than one of the above”. Practice with the 5-option preset above to build precision under 1/3 negative marking.
